Week 1 of Adventure Camp at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Moultrie-Colquitt County was a HUGE success!
Our campers kicked off the summer with exciting field trips and activities for all ages, including visits to the movies at Moultrie Cinema, swimming at the MCCPRA Northwest Pool, and an educational adventure at the Flint River Aquarium. The fun continued all week with hands-on STEaM projects, games, learning opportunities, and our Garden Club led by students from PCOM.
With more than 300 youth participating across all of our sites, we are thrilled to see so many young people engaged, learning, and making lasting summer memories!
A special thank you to United Way for sponsoring 111 participants this summer, as well as Moultrie Cinema, Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks & Recreation Authority, and their outstanding lifeguards and staff for helping make this week unforgettable.
We would also like to recognize our amazing Nutrition Department, which is serving meals daily throughout the summer. Be sure to check out a summer feeding site near you and take advantage of this wonderful community resource!
